"LOOSE SENSE" LAUREN

The name of the journal magazine NuSense was inspired by a group of undergraduate students committed to writing and fostering a culture of intellectual discussion. NuSense, an academic journal magazine that plays on "new sense" and "news sense," encourages discussion and intellectual debate, but also brings to surface problematic issues; in other words, makes noise and is a bit of a free-spirited nuisance. The journal magazine advocates an integrated approach to creative and academic writing by inviting cross-disciplinary contributions about literature, film, history, popular media, and other disciplines.
